Born on Thursday, October 12, 1978 in Hanover, he was the son of Deborah Garrett Shaffer of Hanover and the late Steven L Shaffer. He was also a stepson of Rod Bixler. In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by three daughters, Maddy Mummert-Shaffer, Maci Shaffer and Peyton Shaffer; a sister, Amber Dubs and her husband, Doug; a step-sister, Holly Maisano; a step-brother, Adam Bixler and his wife, Angie; seven nieces and three nephews; and his former wife, Jackie Shaffer. Cremated and placed at the headstone.
