Born April 30, 1930 in Hanover, PA, he was a son of the late Edward J., Sr. and Romaine Orris. Ed is survived by his longtime companion Helen Ports of Hanover and her children Dianne Croft of Hanover, David Ports of Hanover and James Ports of Hanover; two nieces, Rebecca Turner and her husband Jim of Hanover and Dianne Scott and her husband John of New Oxford; three nephews Tom Krichten and his wife Deborah of New Oxford, Terry Krichten and his wife Deborah of McSherrystown and Tony Krichten of Thomasville; his aunt, Margie Topper of York; two sisters-in-law, Ann Krichten of McSherrystown and Sister Mary Canisia of Dallas, PA; and a brother-in-law Cyril Hockensmith, Delaware.
